Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the official opening of the Civic Centre.

Markham's iconic Civic Centre, a landmark at the north-west corner of Highway 7 and Warden Avenue, was designed by renowned Canadian architect Arthur Erickson and completed by Richard Stevens Architects Ltd. The building is sited in a park-like setting, mirrored in an artificial lake.
